Dear Colleagues,
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been required to revise the date and location of this meeting.
The new date for the Scottish Medical Mycology Group meeting will now be held on Wednesday 31st October 2012.
This year’s meeting will bring together healthcare professionals from the areas of microbiology, infectious diseases, research, haematology, ICU, as well as antimicrobial pharmacists.
The 2012 SMMG meeting delivers an agenda which will engage delegates in debate on key topics such as changes in the fungal environment, the role of macrophages in inflammation and fungus in the transplant patient.
Interactive sessions which will focus on current and future developments in fungal research will also shape the agenda, providing delegates with an ideal opportunity to learn the current implications of research leading to improved fungal diagnostics and treatments from highly respected professionals in the field of medical mycology. This meeting is also a great opportunity to network with fellow specialists to develop new research ideas.
The meeting will provide a superb occasion to network with fellow mycology professionals at a thought-provoking and prestigious seminar, offering an interactive educational programme led by eminent speakers.
Registration is only £60 and includes your attendance at the meeting and a place at the SMMG Dinner, following the educational meeting. The dinner offers an opportunity to dine with new and old colleagues, whilst listening to the 2012 SMMG Guest Speaker. Your registration fee also includes overnight accomodation and breakfast.
As numbers are limited I would urge those of you wishing to attend this meeting to register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
